Virtual Design Travel: Inside Hotel Hakuba in Japan

Located in a village near Nagano, the site of the 1998 Winter Olympics, Hotel Hakuba is a ski lodge from Onecollection founders Ivan Hansen and Hans Henrik merging Japanese architecture with midcentury Scandinavian design—and the “full-fledged Finn Juhl experience.”
In the communal dining area, 108 Chairs surround the Nyhavn Dining Tables.
In the communal sitting room, a Poet Sofa anchors a corner.
A newly reissued VL45 Radiohus Pendant Light, designed by Vilhelm Lauritzen for the Radiohuset Building in Copenhagen, hovers over a table and suite of Reading Chairs.
Throughout the hotel, the floors are whitewashed oak.
