Earlier this week, at a friend’s house for dinner, I found myself repeatedly distracted by her giant green mohair blanket on her sofa (Céline). Based in Røros, a small mining town in Norway, Røros Tweed has made ultrasoft and insulating blankets from the wool of local Norwegian sheep since 1940.
From French designer Ingá Sempè (you may recognize her from her Wästberg lighting), the Agnes Blanket, like an Agnes Martin painting, is designed with “two moving rhythms” of horizontal and vertical lines.
