The Paris Loft: A Renovated Flat by a Rising-Star Architect
Photography by Nicolas Sisto; styling by Clarisse Demory
We recently learned about Paris-based architect Nicolas Sisto through his collaborator, Clarisse Demory. Sisto grew up in the French Alps where an interest in photography led him to architecture. Take a look at his renovation of a friend’s 1,700-square-foot loft in the 19th Arrondissement in Paris.
The four-bedroom apartment is in an old candy factory building.
Sisto designed the kitchen custom for the space.
Pantry storage and a panel-ready Electrolux refrigerator are hidden within the granite cabinets.
A cotton hammock hangs in the main living space adjacent to the kitchen.
The Serge Mouille 2-Arm Ceiling Lamp was sourced by the owner.
The upstairs flooring is Dinesen Douglas fir planks, and the headboard is made from a length of repurposed Ikea kitchen countertop.
