The Home Spa Reimagined, from a Dutch-Finnish Designer - Remodelista
In the shopkeeper’s apartment at Egg, one of our favorite London shops, architect Jonathan Tuckey worked with Studio Anna van der Lei to install one of the designer’s Badbox bathtubs in the bathroom.
The Badbox is a smaller tub that can be customized for various dimensions and needs (Studio Anna van der Lei works closely with each client to create the right tub).

Badbox is not meant to be fixed in one location; it can move from indoors to outside to a balcony.
The Badkast, an enclosed version, is, like the Badbox, handmade from a single larch tree from the Netherlands.
“All baths are treated with a colorless and odorless mineral oil allowing space for the aromas of the wood while taking a bath,” says Van der Lei.
