Steal This Look: New Farmhouse Kitchen in London - Remodelista

Part of a larger ground-floor renovation of a 1,200-square-foot Victorian home, located on Farquhar Road in London, the kitchen is flooded with light from both the skylights as well as the floor-to-ceiling, factory-style door, which opens onto a garden courtyard. Made from copper and brass pumping parts, the custom faucet adds a bespoke touch. Much like farmhouse kitchens of yore, this contemporary version features a variety of natural, utilitarian materials, such as stone, wood, and painted cabinets, updated with more modern elements, like concrete and steal. The subtle bird’s-egg hue of the painted cabinets is one winning feature of the hybrid space. Polished concrete counters like the ones used in this London kitchen can be sourced at Concreteworks.
