Steal This Look: A Communal Family Kitchen in a Brooklyn Townhouse - Remodelista
In reconfiguring an 1899 Brooklyn townhouse for a family across three generations, design studio TBo were tasked with building out other separate and communal spaces for the family. An extension on the parlor floor was created to house the kitchen and dining bay.
The extension combines concrete structure with exposed Douglas Fir beams.

The walls are diamond veneer, a hard gypsum plaster.
