Shopper's Diary: Ponytail in Charleston, SC, a Pop-Up Shop Poised to Go on the Road - Remodelista
We first became aware of Charleston, South Carolina-based Helen Rice’s creative agency, Fuzzco, which she cofounded with Josh Nissenboim, back in 2014 (see Fuzzco in Charleston, South Carolina).
Every now and then we check in to see what Helen is up to, so we were intrigued when we discovered Ponytail, her new collection of “curious and functional objects and art,” available online or by appointment (DM her at Ponytail).

Helen has furnished the space with a mix of vintage and contemporary pieces, including a Senate Bench from Remodelista favorite Sawkille and lamps from Barcelona company Santa & Cole.

A sculptural Stoneware Vase 17 by Mexico City-based Disciplina Studio anchors the round dining table.
A stack of Edward Wohl cutting boards sits on the Sawkille bench; the handmade Saguaro Glass #37 vase is from the Long Confidence, a design studio in Berkeley, California, founded by Rafi Ajl.
Moro Dabron’s Augustine Candle is available in black, cream, or terracotta, all with a distinct fragrance.

“I’m obsessed with buying used books,” Helen says.
