Before relocating from NYC to New Zealand, artist Wayne Pate, fashion designer Rebecca Taylor, and their three kids spent a year living in Paris. Wayne filled his sketchbooks and delighted his fans on Instagram with his outpouring. Stacy Waggoner, owner of Studio Four NYC, was a follower of Wayne’s who saw an opportunity and proposed a new collaboration. The result is Paris Elemental, fabric and wallpaper designs.
The 10 Paris Elemental patterns debuted as chair covers at La Palette in Paris’s 6ème, as part of Dèco Off; the patterns were such a hit that the bistro has kept them in place.
Wayne’s painting of a scene from the restaurant.
The patterns all began as paintings; like all of the designs, Colonnes linen, shown here, is available as both fabric and wallpaper.
Vessels fabric in Plaster.
Petite Jaipur linen in Malachite.
