Object of Desire: Oskar Candle Dish from Rowen & Wren - Remodelista

We first featured UK home furnishings purveyor Rowen & Wren in 2012, shortly after the company’s launch, and have since featured several items—Wood Antlers, brass Wall Planters, and Hand-Forged Hardware among them—that we’ve admired from afar.
The Oskar Candle Dish is made of brass and can hold pillar candles or tapers (with a little bit of hot wax poured beneath to stabilize them); £32 ($44) at Rowen & Wren.
Rowen & Wren calls the Oskar dish a larger version of its single-taper Winkie Candleholder.
The trays are slightly oblong, at 24 cm (about 91/2 inches) wide and 28 cm (about 11 inches).
The Oskar dish is also available in a flat black finish.
