Designer Jackie Villevoye launched Jupe by Jackie in 2010 to celebrate the art of hand embroidery in Uttar Pradesh, India, a craft passed down through generations that can take upwards of 15 years to master.
Here are a few of our favorites from the collection, but Jupe by Jackie notes that any of the blankets can be made to measure, in bespoke colors and embroidery patterns.
Just in time for Valentine’s Day, the Tasman throw features a soft pink 100% New Zealand mohair base with whimsical chevron embroidery; $643.94.
The simply-patterned Hocken throw is available in custom color combinations, but we’re partial to this classic black-and-white motif; $761.53.
The silk jute Milsom throw has understated black and brown embroidery with tone-on-tone fringe; $699.94.
The mohair Bluff throw has a decidedly French vibe; $537.55.
The Denon throw is made from 100% khadi cotton, a cloth woven using traditional techniques in India; $1,259.89.
