The Fayce Wallpaper Collection is available in eight patterns and 16 colorways (all made with earth-friendly inks), with names evocative of natural New England (Phragmites and Pines), and old-world New England (Pleat and Lapel).
The inspiration: “Whether pressed for sharpness or kept soft with rounded folds, pleats provide a freedom of movement in any article of clothing. The movement and texture is playful with hints of an aristocratic flair.”
Lapel Wallpaper ($65 per yard), shown here in Muted Teal, is “inspired by the construction of a bespoke suit: Notched, peaked, double-breasted, or pointed, the lapel adds sophistication to any structured garment.” It’s also available in Camel and Navy.
On the finely-drawn Tailor Grasscloth Wallpaper ($135 per yard), shown here in Charcoal: “Inspired by besom or jetted pockets found on tailored suits, this modern and classic striped pattern is dashing and handsome. The intricate, charcoal drawn lines are reminiscent of tailor’s chalk on fine Italian wool.”
Dash Grasscloth Wallpaper ($135 per yard), shown here in Dark Teal and hand-drawn on paper-backed woven sisal, is “inspired by objects and markings found in nature,” with a “modern/rustic and slightly primitive aesthetic.”
