As firm fans of British Standard, we wanted to know more about their latest venture: a white transit van, expertly fitted with a British Standard kitchen. The van is about to embark on a summer road trip across the UK, giving would-be customers the opportunity to experience their simple, wooden cabinetry first hand. Take a look.

The latest British Standard roving showroom is in a white transit van.

The doors reveal a fully-fitted British Standard kitchen, designed by the company’s creative director, Katie Fontana.

The interior was inspired by the precision of yacht design and the kitchens designed for the Barbican Estate in London.

The kitchen features space-saving solutions, including a fold-down table, linear hob, peekaboo service hatch, and magnetic utensil rack.
