Kitchen Tour:  An English Country Cookspace for a Vegan Family

Photography courtesy of Inglis Hall

What does a vegan culinary setup look like? In the case of this project by cabinetmaker Inglis Hall for a young family of six, it takes the guise of a craftsman-made, English country-house kitchen—with some tailor-made details for washing and storing vegetables, doing a lot of prepping and cooking, and sending meals outside. Join us for a look.

Hopper Head from Farrow & Ball: “Sitting between Railings and Down Pipe, this color is inspired by the iron containers used to catch rainwater at the top of a down pipe.”

The Tobacconist from Coat x Laura Jackson: “An effortlessly stylish, addictive deep green with a warming yellowness.”

Mchanga from Paint & Paper Library, “a red-earth shade found in the river sands of Tanzania.”

Hickory from Rose Uniacke, “an intense, true earthy brown.”

And Moor, “a deep mossy green, warm and calming.”
