Foraged Flora: A Wallpaper Collection by Lindsey Adelman for Calico

We love artist and designer Lindsey Adelman's new wallpaper collection for Calico Wallpaper: Dubbed “Eden,” the designs grew out of the time she spent on an island off the coast of France, where she took to foraging every day. “I painted one [stem] at a time, choosing a single color for each as I went along and watched them become something else.” Take a look.

“When I see [those paintings] now, I can re-live that special week: all about Joan Jett, Philip Glass, Romani music, Gilda with Rita Hayworth, the best cheese I’ve ever had made by our new friends, fires at night, and did I mention no schedule,” says Lindsey.

The printing process incorporated the use of hand-applied metal leaf. Pictured is the pattern in Honey.

Eden comes in six colorways, including Hyacinth and Juniper.
