What Can and Cannot Go in a Dishwasher?

Loading the Bottom Rack
Load large and heavy items like mixing bowls, pots and pans, and plates on the bottom rack. Bosch dishwashers in the 300 Series and up feature FlexSpace™ tines on the lower rack, which lets you fold back individual tines so it’s easier to fit your largest items.

Bosch dishwashers have removable flatware compartments which can be placed along the side, or in the center, of the lower rack.

Tip: If you are going to “cheat” and wash your silver flatware in the dishwasher, at least make sure it is separated from stainless steel, as mixing the two can cause the silver to pit.
