Design Travel: A Creative Seaside Retreat at Kindred House in England
Photographs via Kindred House
Kindred House, on England’s southeast coast, is Margate’s newest guest house and a place that has been inspired by the shore along which it sits. In fact, when we asked the owner, Natasha Lawless, to share some images, she responded with a selection of landscapes and details from her surroundings: graphic rock formations, a piercing sunset, and a thick carpet of seaweed.

The Turner Room. Much of the furniture and objects in the rooms have been bought second-hand or commissioned from independent makers or local businesses.

Local chalk provided inspiration for the natural, milky color palette.
