This week the Remodelista editors are admiring an antique home in an artists’ haven, sleuthing finds at Brimfield, and more.
The daughter of the late artist and landscape designer Judy Tomkins tipped us off to one of the more magical properties we’ve seen in a while: Tomkins’s 1750s house in the artists’ hamlet of Snedens Landing, New York, now on the market.
For readers near Suffolk, England, architect John Penn’s Beach House on Shingle Street will be open to the public today, September 9, with an exhibition by designer Margaret Howell on Penn’s “Nine Villas in Suffolk.” More info at The Modern House.
