Current Obsessions: Southern Gothic - Remodelista
New York’s most anticipated new hotel, the case for a messy mantel, and more things the Remodelista editors are noting this weekend.
Our latest obsession: a darkly gothic mantel, where wax drips are part of the allure, spotted at Seaworthy in New Orleans.

And for something brighter, we’re looking forward to Sister City, a new hotel from the Ace Hotel studio opening this fall in the Bowery in New York City, with design inspired by everything from Finnish saunas to John Cage compositions.
