Our judges have chosen the finalists in all eight categories of our 2017 Considered Design Awards. Browse below to see the five finalist projects in the best Professional UK Interior category.
Border Oak, in collaboration with Fernio Furniture, entered their Meadowmead Kitchen in Herefordshire, England.
It was chosen as a finalist by Remodelista editor Julie Carlson and guest judge Sam Hamilton, who called it “a lovely kitchen. Clearly the British know what they’re doing on this front! I like the combination of color and material in this lovely space. I’m particularly fond of the lovely back pantry.”
The Cheshire Townhouse Kitchen by deVOL Kitchens was chosen by Sam Hamilton, who said: “A stunning kitchen. Amazing cabinetry and flow—I imagine it will be even more beautiful with the liveliness of an owner (Lord knows I wouldn’t mind if it were me).”
Fawn Interiors submitted this Thatched Cottage Kitchen in Alresford, England, chosen by Sam Hamilton, who said: “This is a beautifully realized modern/functional kitchen that honors the heritage of this aged house. The warmth and personality of this space is calling my name! Bravo!”
And GB Ltd. entered this Chelsea Town House New Build in London, chosen by Sam Hamilton: “It’s hard to believe this is a new build! The attention to detail is simply amazing. What a dreamy concept to have a greenhouse kitchen! A lovely home indeed, decidedly English in sensibility.”
