A view into the kitchen shows the original elements of the building’s structure. The walls are “partly painted,” the owners say, using a traditional Belgian plaster technique called kalei, where a thin, chalky plaster—a porous substrate—is applied by brush.
Through the arched doorway is a vintage green leather barber stool, a bell jar table lamp, and Shovel Wire Netting Sculpture by Terry Powell for Serax.
The kitchen has a granite countertop, a Boffi cooktop, and a Bauknecht oven.
The Serax Fashion Rack with cement shelves hosts a collection of Belgian objets and handmade vases.
The living room is a blend of old and new: a quirky wood floor lamp—a family heirloom—is paired with a modern white sofa, Verner Panton Chair, Antonino Sciortino for Serax Bistrot Table, and a wall-mounted vase from Atelier Lachaert Dhanis.
The upstairs loft has two bedrooms and a bathroom with cork flooring and plaster walls.

The little house opens onto a small gravel courtyard. The courtyard is furnished with pieces by Paola Navone for Serax and bikes available to guests.
