This beautiful design takes its inspiration from the paper panels in the Prima Donnas room in the court theatre at the summer palace in Drottningholm. Zoffanys Eleonora wallpaper captures the spirit of the original panels depicting the birds among the branches in a repeating design with great care taken to retain the brushwork of the Swedish artist. Each of the four colourings some traditional some with a touch of modern sophistication retain the hallmark Gustavian freshness.
