Methodically (and patiently) stitched together by esteemed painter and quilter Coulter Fussell, this arresting tapestry derives its pattern blueprint from an American Revolution quilt–1775’s Bolt of Lightening. The bold colors and unique craftsmanship of this quilt will inspire all to remember that lightening truly doesn’t strike twice. Fussell drew upon a patchwork of sources for this one-of-kind beauty: 100% Kona cotton is highlighted with our Famous Red scarf wool–spun and dyed in the USA–for a uniquely American piece. Looking to modernity while rooted in tradition, this historically significant quilt is backed with 100% cotton muslin batting, all the better for travel, camping, or simply for display in your stead.
