Fort Standard – Designers & Makers is a new domestic product and furniture design studio founded by Gregory Buntain and Ian Collings. The design duo are active members of The American Design Club, an organization of emerging designers from NYC and beyond. The New York based team is proud to present “Balancing Blocks”; a game capable of capturing the attention of all ages with its fun contemporary forms and vintage feel.
The Balancing Blocks are hand made in Red Hook Brooklyn from repurposed hardwood scrap collected from local furniture shops. Packaged in silk screened cotton drawstring bags, one set contains ten different sized colored blocks sealed with non-toxic finish. Multiple sets increase building possibilities and create additional multi-player game opportunities.
