Since 2002, the Case Study® #22 Chair has been manufactured to exact specifications of the original VKG Chair, built by Hendrik Van Keppel and Taylor Green from 1939 through 1970. Pieces of the Case Study® #22 collection were included in Julius Shulman’s iconic photos of Pierre Koenig’s Case Study House #22 and the Kaufman house designed by Richard Neutra.
The UV protected stainless steel frame offers superior strength and will not rust. The covering is an extremely durable specialty marine cord, engineered and manufactured for sailing and guaranteed against rot or mildew.
The timeless Case Study® #22 designs are included in the permanent collections of MOMA and LACMA museums.
