Description from Chairish
Just Andersen (1884-1943) is widely recognized as Denmark’s finest designer and craftsman in the areas of bronze, copper and pewter pieces. This pewter pitcher #502 dates to the late 1930s or early 40s and features an elegant modernist style with a handle wrapped with an interlaced natural reed. Being made of a high polished pewter it has been susceptible over the years to tarnish and spotting. Polished pewter pieces of this age are most often found with this condition, but can be cleaned, re-polished and restored to a like new condition if desired. We highly recommend that such work be done by a competent professional with pewter experience. Pitcher is free of dents and defects and the handle wrap is in excellent condition. Andersen marking stamped on bottom.
