When we first stumbled on the Uashmama washable Paper Bags during a trip to Europe we literally could not stop touching and feeling the material. It’s like the best bread and paper bag you have ever touched, combined with soft canvas and leather, we knew we had to have them in our little store.
Uashmama (pronounced wash mama) paper bags feel like leather, wash like a fabric, and flatten for easy storage. Originally created as a modest bread bag they look great anywhere, with anything around the home. Designed to be rolled at the top to fit the contents and ready to be used again and again. As the paper washes like a fabric and holds its form for future use, it is the ultimate in promoting sustainability and style for homewares.
Designed and handcrafted in Tuscany by a company created by four sisters in homage to their Mother, who are passionate about creating nature friendly, stylish products that celebrate Tuscan tradition with innovation.
