The Tufted Wool Garland and Ornaments (2009) are handcrafted from start to finish, including tufting the wool, shaping each ball and even threading and knotting the leather strings. The quality wool is sourced from flocks of sheep located at high altitudes, which yields loftier, fluffier fibers that are better at absorbing dyes to create highly saturated colors. Trine Andersen started her career in graphic design, and started designing wallpaper when she couldn’t find what she wanted for her own home. From there, her product assortment grew to include items like the Wool Garland and Ornaments, which were inspired by the organic shapes of plants & trees.
