Description from Matter
Adhering to its namesake, a simple wooden shaft is the focal point of this light fixture. A diamond-tipped bit sculpts delicate scalloped rings on the surface, creating a subtle texture to give the extremely minimal form its unique personality. Remaining true to its sense of functional simplicity, the shape and size of the fixture is determined by the LED tube around which the design was created. Finally, fabric-wrapped cord makes its way up to the ceiling and introduces a touch of color.
