USA-Made Tin Cloth Shop Apron
Repurposed vintage oiled canvas – Quantities Limited
Handmade in California from vintage tin cloth deadstock, our Shop Apron is lightweight and comfortable to wear, with a heavy weight weave that is a little stiff at first but softens over time. Tin Cloth was originally named for the common metal due to its considerable toughness and durability. The oiled canvas is extremely water-resistant – water simply beads and rolls off the seal-skin like material. The apron is fitted with vintage webbed cotton twill adjustable ties (circa 1953, about the same era as the tin cloth), new brass grommets, a ruler/pencil pocket, a center pocket, and two adjustable tool loops. Each Apron has the unique character of cloth made from vintage material.
Garrett Wade is dedicated to offering simple functional designs crafted with artisanal care from materials chosen for their character and longevity – and which are made in the USA.
