Description from Curious Corners
- This placemat is made of dead stock “Shijira-ori” fabric from Tokushima, Japan. Shijira-ori is often used to make summer kimono, it has soft and fresh texture. Tokushima has been known as the center of indigo plant farming and “sukumo” (fermented indigo dye) making. The fabric is woven with rich indigo blue and white yarns.
- Handwash is recommended.
