Description from Hygge & West
In 1839, Herman Kahler took over an old pottery studio in Nastved, Denmark, which became the groundwork for one of the greatest successes in Danish ceramic history. With handicraft experience passed down through generations and great insight into the versatile molding potential of clay, Kahler has now been at the cutting edge of Danish ceramic art for more than one hundred years.
The classic Kahler teapot was first produced in the 1930s. Today, this signature series has been given a deserved renaissance. The result is authentic, informal art, enjoyment of which is only strengthened by the air of nostalgia.
Prices range from $35.95 to $112.95
