The Candelabra by Fort Standard is made from gunmetal, a type of bronze known as red brass in the US, and takes its raw looking finish from the sand-casting process used to create it. Cast as one single piece, it has a cone-shaped base and a shallow y-shaped stem and arms. Due to oxidation, this reassuringly heavy item will take on a different patina over time. Something of a beautiful brute, this design expresses itself through both its form and finish. Made in Woolwich, UK. Also available in aluminium
