One of the most recognisable pieces from Danish brand Lyngby Porcelæn, the Lyngby Vase is a design icon. Designed in 1936, the vase challenged the prevailing porcelain aesthetic of the time, which relied heavily on ornamental decoration, and looked instead to the bauhaus movement, the result being a celebration of simplicity and minimalism. This reproduction of the original is made from clear glass, but has the same oblong form and raised linear pattern that made the original so distinguishable.
