Hailing from north central Mexico, Jan Barboglio’s work derives its inspiration from her roots on a ranch in where she spent her summers as a child. Originally thinking she wanted to be a cattlehand, Barboglio later decided to celebrate her love for the romance and spirituality of old Mexico in making objects that resonated with these sentiments. “Everything I design is meant to have an old hacienda feel. Every object has a warmth to it.”
