FvF photo editor and contributor Robbie Lawrence grew up in Edinburgh, Soctland and has traveled extensively for work and leisure. His landscape and seascape images bear the distinct touch of one who has a cautious respect for the awesome powers of nature and our place in it.
Of Singapore Robbie writes: “This photograph was taken at a distance of around a mile. I stood in the early hours of a sweltering day in late February, mesmerised by how the tankers and cruise ships that are dotted across the watercolour blue of the Singapore Strait, were rendered minuscule against the vast ocean.”
