This kind of broom used to be a common feature in street, park, garden or home. It was just as good for sweeping up leaves, snow, or house dust. It’s due for a revival! Our version is made of dried rice stalks (‘rice straw’).It has a full eight bindings at the top (four are more usual) and is firmly fixed to the handle by a wire spiral.
