Elaborated by Francisca, Angela and Maria from San Marcos Tlapazola. The water contained in the red clay glass evaporates through the clay walls and serves as a cooler because of its porosity keeping the water fresh. This glass is is produced only with their hands and using primitive tools as stones and corncobs. The texture of each piece is unique and is achieved by polishing it with different types of stones passed from generation to generation.
