Description from Design Within Reach

Young plantation-grown teak trees are routinely cleared to make room for higher-yield trees. Rama Watana designed his solid Teak Stool (2008) as a vehicle for this underappreciated sustainable material, which is simply too thin to be used in standard furniture manufacturing. Because of its simple shape, the rustic yet refined Teak Stool can be used alone as a seat or side table, or it can be grouped in multiples for use as a coffee table. Like all teak, it will develop a rich, silvery patina over time, or it can be treated with teak oil to maintain its original luster. Suitable for indoor use only. Made in Thailand.

  • Materials : Responsibly harvested solid teak.
  • Measurements : H 18″ W 11.5″ D 11.5″
