Description from Design Within Reach
For more than 30 years, Giulio Lazzotti has maintained a diverse practice encompassing architecture, interior design and furniture design. He received the Torre Guinigi prize for his design for the historical center of Pietrasanta, Italy, and he is internationally recognized for his work in marble – so much so that he often teaches at the Academy of Art in Carrara, Italy (home to the famous white carrara marble quarries). When he designed our Quovis Collection, developed with an Italian restaurant equipment manufacturer, he set the standard for quality stainless steel utility furniture. The generously proportioned Quovis Table (2001) is easy to clean and maintain, will not rust and is constructed to endure years of use. Able to withstand the corrosive action of various acids found in food and chemicals, as well as having a high strength-to-weight ratio, the table is suited to a high-traffic café or restaurant, darkroom or kitchen. Lockable casters provide stability. Assembly required. Made in Italy.
