Our smoothest plaster, PORCELINA provides the user with an opportunity to create traditional Old World marble smooth surfaces.

LOMA is always used as the base coat. Surfaces with texture will require a thicker base coat. Porcelina is applied as a second coat at approximately 1/32 of an inch over the basecoat, for a combined thickness of up to 1/16 inch.

Marble-smooth as the architectural wonders created by artisans for centuries, Porcelina lends a silky, polished sheen to once-bland wall surfaces without laborious and hazardous sanding. It’s decidedly epic, whether applied with a sleek finish, troweled and burnished for greater depth, or even layered with color and waxed to suggest the look and feel of Venetian plaster.
