In natural wicker with a base of satin-brushed stainless steel, this elegant lounge chair epitomizes the work of Poul Kjí¦rholm and his search for the ideal form and industrial dimension. The profile of the frame originates from his graduation project, the “Element” Chair (PK25), at the School of Applied Arts in Copenhagen. In 1957, the PK22 was awarded the Grand Prix at the Milan Triennale, a prize that catapulted Kjí¦rholm onto the international design scene.
