Inspired by the comfort, warmth, and intentional approach of slow living, Goodee has created a range of heirloom-quality pillows made entirely in Africa in collaboration with Ethical Fashion Initiative, the United Nations’ fair trade division. Working with the EFI’s weaving cooperative in Burkina Faso, each limited-edition pillow celebrates color, texture and the people who craft them. Made from unique and beautifully-striped Burkinabé and Malian textiles, and sewn in Kenya by fair-trade Artisan Fashion, each pillow tells a story of empowerment and social impact, making it a purposeful purchase, gift and conversation starter.
Each pillow is filled with GOTS-certified organic cotton batting and muslin provided by Cece’s Wool, a not-for-profit that offers training, jobs and services to people with developmental disabilities. Our inaugural collection of colorful styles features a removable branded logo.
