This sofa and daybed ‘Minerva’, named after the goddess of wisdom, is a true midcentury Classic by the design duo of Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen for France and Son. Both the backrest and seat or matras are upholstered with it’s original black leather. The contrast of the black leather with the chrome and teak is wonderful and forms a true modernist combination of materials and colors.
