Description from TRNK
Designed by Pritzker Prize recipient Paulo Mendes da Rocha, this iconic lounge chair is timeless, comfortable and chic.
Designed in 1957, this legendary lounge chair has remained a design favorite for the past six decades. Originally designed for the lounge of the Athletic Club of São Paulo, the chair was inducted into the Museum of Modern Art’s permanent collection in 2007. As one of our favorites, the chair boasts an elegant and angular profile without any sacrifice to comfort.
The chair’s frame is made from a single piece of steel, and is finished in polished stainless steel or a matte-black, Phosphated carbon steel. The frame is paired with a canvas sling seat, which is available in a variety of handsome color options.
