Oyyo’s original dhurries are made by hand using 100% organic cotton and unique techniques of vegetable dye.
Oyyo has connected Indian weavers, researchers and bioengineers to craft natural textiles using traditional techniques. In a village in Maharashtra, India, Oyyo has opened their own dedicated weaving workshop.
Östra is made with 100% organic cotton and natural, untreated linen warp. Our yarn is dyed with vegetable pigments derived from local plants. We get all our blue shades from natural Indigo, dyed in traditional vats.
Östra comes in three standard sizes, 150x225cm, 170x240cm and 200x300cm. If you are interested in another size please contact us here, [email protected], we are happy to take on bespoke orders and might even have other sizes in stock.
Due to the fact that the dhurries are handwoven, actual measurements may vary (+-) 2-8 cm.
