One Dozen 12″x12″ Organic Unbleached Cotton Birdseye Unpaper Towels – Washable Cloths for Table Napkins, Lunchbox, or All Purpose Cleaning

I am very excited to offer my newest addition to my line of non-paper products. This difficult-to-find organic, unbleached cotton fabric has been carefully cut and serged around the edges to create sets of 12 reusable, washable, and ecologically responsible unpaper towels.
There are many sources here on etsy, and on other marketplaces, where unpaper products can be found, but these are unique in that the fabric is unbleached as well as being organic. That means the cotton has been grown without the use of chemical fertilizers or pesticides, and has not been exposed to harsh chemical treatments to whiten the fibers. The cloth retains a nice, natural ecru color, with tiny flecks of natural colored fiber. Due to the minimal processing, this fabric is actually more absorbent and durable than the bleached and/or colored variety, in addition to being healthier for the environment and your family. The fabric is a quick-drying fluffy and light weave, which functions much like a regular paper towel, similar in size and weight, only much more durable and absorbent.
Each towel is single layered, serged around the edges. The fabric is pre-washed, measuring just a tad under 12 inches square. With repeated laundering, they will shrink up to around 11 1/2 inches square. Washing without fabric softener will keep them at their maximum absorbency. With each subsequent wash, the fabric will get softer and more absorbent. Think of these as paper towel replacements. These will become more absorbent with washing but they are a thinner fabric. If you are looking for a thicker more absorbent fabric consider our organic, flannel cloths.
These towels will arrive packaged in plastic-free packaging. I proudly use reclaimed paper packaging and paper tape to ship. You can rest assured that all of the packaging for your order can go straight into the compost bin or recycling, without the annoying need to remove plastic packaging tape!
