This chair was originally designed for the ‘Okinami’ Japanese restaurant in 2008. The brief was to create a range of contemporary furniture that reflected the craftsmanship, proportion and attention to detail found in the Japanese arts whilst being suitably comfortable and durable enough for its intended
environment. This achievement has been recognised by the 2009 International Restaurant Awards.
