Svenskt Tenn’s classic trays in birch veneer are available in a number of prints by Josef Frank and Estrid Ericson, including Notturno.
The Notturno print was originally called “Moonlite” with its high pepperbushes and palm trees against the backdrop of a deep blue tropical night sky. The close-up drawings of peppercorns light up almost like large citrus fruits glowing in the moonlight. The design was created by Josef Frank during 1943-1945.
