Notes and Notating Sampler Set

Sometimes you need more than just a #2! This set includes a round up of our favorite pencils for adding embellishment to bullet journaling or letter writing, for editing and making notations, or simply for sprucing up “to do” lists.

Milan Highlighter/Graphite Combo Pencil- This duo makes a great companion for note taking! One side has nice, firm graphite with excellent point retention (great for writing in the margins of books!), the other has a firm yellow highlighter (great for underlining!). Made in Spain.

Hermitage Thin Red Pencil – Made in the USA, this true red pencil is decently erasable and keeps a nice firm point. It’s not too pigmented, so it can be erased a little easier than most colored pencils.

Koh-i-Noor Dry Marker Highlighter Pencil* – These highlighters are slim and bright, making them perfect for underlining or highlighting in books. These won’t dry out like a normal highlighter, either and aren’t too waxy. Made in the Czech Republic.

CWPE x Caran d’Ache Editor Pencil- The most special pencil in our collection, The Editor is our dream companion. Half bright red, half firm graphite, and basically the perfect all-in-one pencil. The red side is seriously soft and pigmented, the graphite side a little firmer for intense writing sessions. Made in Switzerland.

Caran d’Ache Couleurs Fluos Highlighter Pencil*- Ultra-pigmented with a nice, thick core, the Fluo is one of our go-to pencils for crossing off lists or highlighting important notes. These show up very brightly on a page, and the tips can be fashioned into a nice, wide line, much like what you’d get from a marker. Made in Switzerland.

Tombow 8900 VP Pencil – This red/blue combo pencil is one of our recent favorites, with richly pigmented vermillion on one end, bright blue on the other. Great for making multiple mark ups on first drafts, or color coding lists. Made in Vietnam.
