Description from Such & Such
This beautiful teapot is handmade in England from vitrified earthenware and has a handle made from steam bent oak. It is a simply stunning teapot from designer Sue Pryke in conjunction with Wild + Wood. Part of our lovely tableware collection, the clay is fired to a high temperature until it’s no longer porous, giving it a stone like quality. Each teapot holds four generous mugs of tea and is individually made so there will be slight changes in each piece, which is indicative of the material and the hand made process. Sue Pryke is a British homeware designer who has designed her own tableware collection (click here to see) after having had a successful career which has involved collaborations with the likes of Virgin Atlantic, John Lewis and Marks and Spencer’s.
